SVG Biscuit Box Card

It's time for another 3D box card design, and for this one I was inspired by the boxes of assorted biscuits that are so popular around Christmas time!

Displaying a tempting assortment of biscuits, this card folds flat for easy posting, and is available through my Etsy shop as an SVG cut file.

To make one, you will need:

Biscuit Box Card template (SVG available)
* Computer and printer to print the PDF template and instructions
* Digital cutting machine (I have only tested this on my Cricut machines)
* Double-sided cardstock (220-250gsm recommended)
* Craft glue / PVA
* Double-sided tape
* Strips of acetate (approx 1cm wide)

If you are not using a cutting machine you will also need:

* Craft knife / scissors
* Scoring tool
* Ruler

Watch my video tutorial below showing how to assemble the box card:

Perfect for birthdays, Valentine's Day, Easter or just as a thank you, the back panel is left blank for you to add your own personal message or stamped sentiment.

TIP 1: Glue the three inserts inside the box just slightly lower than the top, about 4mm down. Then check that the card folds flat both ways.

TIP 2: Try inking the edges of the biscuits to give them some definition, and add a layer of 3D gloss varnish to the red circles to look like jam!

The 'So Sweet' sentiment is designed for Print Then Cut (it will need to be flattened first), but if you don't want to use it, you can add your own stamped sentiment to the blank rectangle that I have also included.

When standing, this card measures approximately 13.2cm (H) x 6.1cm (D) x 6.1cm (W), and when folded flat, it fits neatly into a 15 x 15cm envelope. This is only meant as a guide, as the SVG file can easily be re-sized to suit your needs.

I hope I have inspired you to create one of these tempting box cards for yourself. Feel free to send me a photo of your finished creation if you do!
