They can be made in two different ways - with a shirt (and optional tie) or with a round necked top!
The templates for these boxes are available as SVG and PDF files from my Etsy shop.
To make the boxes, you will need:
* Graduation Gown Box template (PDF and SVG available)
* Computer and printer to print the PDF templates and instructions
* Digital cutting machine (I have only tested this on my Cricut machines)
* Double-sided coloured cardstock (220-250gsm / 80-92lb recommended)
* Craft glue / double-sided tape
If you are not using a cutting machine you will also need:
* Craft knife / scissors
* Scoring tool
* Ruler
Watch my video tutorial showing how to assemble the boxes:
There are two different tie options in the download for you to choose from. You can either add a bow tie to your shirt or a regular tie. You then need to decide whether you want your tie to be tucked neatly into the gown or left hanging over the top.
The graduation gown boxes team up perfectly with my dress favour box ...
and with my shirt favour box!
Just imagine the fun you can have experimenting with different colour schemes and different clothing designs!
Happy crafting!
Suzanne
