SVG Tuxedo Favour Box

Following on from my bestselling shirt favour boxes, I have now created a template for a super stylish tuxedo favour box!

A paper craft favour box in the shape of a mans tuxedo for wedding favours

Ideal for birthdays, Father's Day or wedding favours, these little boxes are easy to assemble, and are perfect for gifting sweets or small treats! They can even hold a gift card!

You can even use the template to make a regular suit jacket box using any coloured or patterned cardstock you like. You could even personalise it for a wedding or other special occasion using a particular colour scheme. And how about adding a matching tie and handkerchief! The possibilities are endless!

Available as an SVG cut file, as well as a PDF if you prefer to cut out by hand, you can find the templates for this stunning box in my Etsy shop as an instant download.

To make a tuxedo box, you will need:

Tuxedo Favour Box template (PDF and SVG available)
* Computer and printer to print the PDF templates and instructions
* Digital cutting machine
* Double-sided cardstock (220-250gsm recommended)
* Craft glue / PVA
* Acrylic gloss varnish or similar

If you are not using a cutting machine you will also need:

* Craft knife / scissors
* Scoring tool
* Ruler

Watch my video tutorial showing how to assemble the box:

TIP 1 : Apply some acrylic gloss varnish to the two lapels, the three pockets, the button and bow tie. This will give them the classic tuxedo satin finish.

TIP 2 : Assemble the two front pieces before gluing them to the box. This will make the overlap look more realistic.

TIP 3 : Glue the top pocket in place before gluing the lapel on. This will keep it just tucked underneath the lapel.

TIP 4 : Line up the white handkerchief along the top edge of the pocket. Alternatively, cut a duplicate pocket out of white cardstock to give a different handkerchief style. Or just leave the pocket as it is with no handkerchief.

TIP 5 : Glue the left front piece on first, then the right piece, to give it that realistic overlapped look.
