How to Print my Digital Papers

Following on from my previous post, where I introduced you to my Bee Hive Favour Box, I have now created a quick video tutorial to show you how to print the two FREE digital papers that come with the template

Bee Hive Digital Papers by Esselle Crafts

I recommend that you print the digital papers onto white photo quality matte card, approximately 220gsm. But if you don't want to use the digital papers, then you can use any double-sided patterned card or just plain yellow card to create the box.

How to use my Digital Files

In this post, I will be answering some of the most frequently asked questions about using my digital files. I hope you find this information useful, but if you still have any questions, feel free to contact me through my Etsy shop and I will do my best to answer them.

Please note - all of my SVG files are tested in Cricut Design Space and are cut out using my Cricut Explore Air 2. I also cut out smaller versions (using the small dashed cuts SVG file) on my Cricut Joy. Results may vary with other cutting machines.

Red Telephone Teapot Box

I first made one of these red telephone teapot boxes about a year ago, but I have only just got around to designing the template for it. It was a bit tricky to work out at first, but with a bit of trial and error, and a lot of determination, I am absolutely thrilled with the results!

There are two different versions of the template included in the download. The one pictured above, with the OPEN windows, is designed for using acetate windows so that you can see through it, like a real telephone box. You might want to use this version with little lights inside and display it on a shelf or a windowsill.

Mini Birdhouse Box

I love creating things in miniature, especially boxes, and so, for Easter this year, I thought it would be great to make a smaller version of my birdhouse box just big enough to hold a single Creme Egg!

Evil Queen Crown

If you enjoyed my DIY Evil Queen Crown post, then you may also like to the watch the video I made about it.  It contains simple, easy to follow instructions, describing how I created the crown.

I used core'dinations Colour Core Cardstock (Black Cat, 250gsm), using just one 12" x 12" sheet to create the whole crown.

I hope you enjoy watching it, and listening to the beautiful music (Pas de Deux by Bird Creek), and that you will be inspired to create your own Evil Queen Crown.

Teapot Box

I have always had a passion for teapots, so it was inevitable that one day I would combine my interests and create a box in the shape of a teapot.

Teapots come in all different shapes and sizes, but I wanted to create a classic design, an instantly recognisable form for my box. I had a hexagonal shape in mind, and so I set to work, sketching how my teapot should look before designing a simple template. After a bit of trial and error, it wasn't long before I was holding my very own teapot box.

I love the simplicity of this design, and the endless possibilities for decoration and embellishment.

With a removable lid, it can be filled to the brim with delicious treats - chocolates, candies, biscuits, teabags ... An ideal gift for any tea-lover!
